Lottie did not want to believe her sister when she predicted Lottie would be attacked by a serial killer. But her sister’s weird predictions have always proven themselves true in the past, and now her sister has been murdered. Couple those facts with the terrifying calls Lottie is now receiving from the mysterious killer, and Lottie is convinced.

But her sister’s prediction ordains she must ‘accept’ the moose if she is to survive the imminent attack, which is drawing near as Halloween night approaches. There aren’t many moose in Toronto, and Lottie quickly decides to run, hiding away at the cabin she inherited from her family. But is the moose literal, or could it take the form of the hunky neighbor wearing a moose t-shirt that she remembers crushing on in her youth?

First off, I have to say I really loved this story. I was not quite sure what to expect, and was worried the story might be a little silly. Within the first few pages, I fell easily into the author’s groove. Jennie Andrus has penned a sexy paranormal tale with THE LAST PROPHECY fraught with suspense, yet peppered with a generous sprinkling of humor throughout the book. Using humor keeps the story fun, while never detracting from the seriousness of Lottie’s plight.

Lottie is intelligent, resourceful, and delightfully unique. She meets her match in her hunky neighbor, Perry, who is just as eclectic as she is. The author creates a charming couple with these unusual people, and delivers few twists in the story that will take the reader by surprise, but are completely natural and sensible when considering the clues to that point in the story.
