When
Taylor’s best friend asked her to find a room in her hotel for her nephew,
Taylor expected a kid fresh out of high school. She wasn’t prepared for a hunk
of a young man in his late twenties, and she certainly could not never have
anticipated the effect Colt Foster would have on her libido, much less his own
desire for her.
But they can’t act on their attraction, can they? For one, she is older than
him by more than ten years. Even more importantly, how can a take-charge woman
like Taylor Davis, who runs a hotel and casino in Las Vegas, submit to a man as
dominant as Colt?
I have to say, I am not typically drawn to romances between older women and
younger men, but KyAnn Waters’ short story THE COUGAR MEETS HER MASTER
was just too intriguing to resist.
This story is a delightful little romance that concentrates on the chemistry
between Taylor and Colt without focusing on their age difference too much,
although that potential relationship obstacle is definitely given due
consideration.
What Ms. Waters really focuses on is the romance and sexual chemistry between
these characters, delivering a romance both sweet and spicy all at once.
Colt is a man who knows what he wants when he sees it, and does not hesitate to
pursue it with everyone of his considerable resources. What a heady feeling it
must be to be at the center of this man’s attention…
Taylor is a woman who has become powerful in her career, leaving her femininity
and sexuality unfulfilled. Colt is just what she needs, and his relentless
attention helps her realize the sensual woman she has long buried deep inside.
THE COUGAR MEETS HER MASTER is a perfect romance for readers who
need a sexy little tryst to while away an hour or so. The story may be brief,
but there is no shortage of love in this little gem!
