He is
the last person she ever expected to see again much less on her own doorstep.
She tries to tell herself that he is the last person she ever WANTED to see
again, but her body proves different to them both, even as Kat tries to convince
Master Dalton that she can never be what he needs.
Mistress Katriona has worked hard to build Incognito into the success it is
today, and Dalton Carrington threatens her carefully built world with his mere
presence. Still, she cannot deny neither her own reaction to his attentions,
nor the fact that he seems to see into the most private parts of her and
recognize what she hides from everyone everyone but him, that is!
With
each new release from Madison Layle and Anna Leigh Keaton, I am more and more
impressed by this writing team! Their newest collaboration,
Incognito:
Collaring Kat proves that
this exciting series is in no danger of becoming stale anytime soon. No, Layle
and Keaton keep surprising me with new ways to keep these wonderful stories
fresh and exciting.
When I first heard the title for this edition of the
Incognito series, I
wondered how in the world they could make me believe that the ever dominant
Mistress Katriona could be collared by anyone. Not only did they make me
believe it once I began reading this story, but my heart broke for Kat as she
struggled with the secrets she has hidden from everyone for the last ten years
even her closest friends.
Dalton Carrington was the perfect relentless Alpha male sporting a healthy dose
of arrogance tempered by the sensitivity so necessary for a good Dominant. Upon
first meeting, I had no doubt that he was more than a match for Kat, and would
have volunteered for her place in his heart given the chance!
Collaring Kat also
paved the way with considerable finesse for the next chapter in this fascinating
saga allowing readers to become more familiar with Kats long-time submissive,
Carl. The authors fleshed this character out very well, hinting at hidden
depths and succeeding in making me ache for his story!
