Jasmine Quinn was finally ready to come back from her year in Paris to the Morgan brothers and the Sweetwater Ranch that had been her home since she was sixteen. She’d left when she could no longer stand the fact she was in love with them both and may have to choose but her year away has given her some new ideas and insights that just might make her dreams come true. 

Zane and Seth are determined to resist the powerful attraction the feel for Jaz but aren’t counting on her launching an all out war on their libidos and hearts. They each want Jaz and she wants them both but can this work for all of them? Or will the Seth’s need to have her for himself cost the three of them everything? 

BRAZEN was a very enjoyable and quite sexy read for me. Jaz has a very interesting background and a mix of innocence and worldliness that makes her a compelling character to follow. I also found it very interesting how alike and yet different Zane and Seth were – something that rang very true to me. The devotion of the two men to Jaz made me smile and Ms. Banks even managed to convey the sometimes heavy subject of ménage and sharing with care and grace that made it just right for the story. 

I particularly liked the way Jaz didn’t always do things right or make the right decisions. I love strong heroines but I don’t appreciate the ones that are strong but have flaws and issues as well. In trying to follow her heart, Jaz does make some mistakes but they make sense for the character and situation. 

My only issues with BRAZEN are a few aspects that I feel may be unrealistic in terms of the background of the story but those are very nit-picky. BRAZEN is a sexy read that will make you smile, laugh, groan and occasionally want to smack a character a time or two. Filled with hot sex and hotter emotions, it’s a terrific offering from Maya Banks.
