The rodeo has come to town and bar owner Talia is doing all she can to handle the large crowds landing in her establishment. As the crowd gets unruly two handsome cowboys step in to help Talia. Cowboys Reb and Cody are as different as night and day. One blond and sexy, the other dark and mysterious, but both have an eye for Talia. 

After settling down the crowd, the cowboys settle in to seducing Talia, letting her know they do everything together. Talia is surprised both men are interested in her together and decides to live out her personal fantasy. What she doesn’t anticipate is falling for one of them hard. As the relationship between the three intensifies, a rivalry between the two cowboys for Talia’s attention explodes. Before the rodeo leaves town they all try and figure out what it is each of them really wants.  

I have a personal love for rodeo cowboys and reading about ménage so I was looking forward to reading MIDNIGHT RODEO by Luxie Ryder and I must say I enjoyed it. The sex between the characters was sizzling! For readers who have never read ménage and might want to give a ménage story a try this would be a good book to start with. 

Talia is an independent woman faced with a situation where she can live out one of her fantasies, having two cowboys at one time. She hesitates for a brief moment but then jumps in with both feet. Heck who wouldn’t! Both cowboys seem to have done this before and since the rodeo is leaving town after a week what does she have to lose. But she is seriously drawn to one of the cowboys and he is to her, something that has never happened to him before.  

My only wish was that the story had been longer. I wanted to know more about Cody, Reb and Talia and why they were the way they were and why they made the choices they made. 

Ms. Ryder is a great character writer and I hope with her next book in the cowboy series she will have more of an opportunity in a longer book to elaborate more on her characters. All in all, a sizzling read!!!!!  I am looking forward to the next book in the MIDNIGHT COWBOY Series!
